The Heart Gallery Los Angeles - Adoption

The Heart Gallery was started by Diane Granito in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2001. Frustrated with the quality of the photos she was provided to show prospective parents of available children, she decided to take matters into her own hands and started enlisting the help of local professional photographers to shoot high quality pictures. Diane thought the pictures were so beautiful she decided to host an exhibit at a local gallery and showcase them for prospective parents.

Local resident and country singer, Randy Travis serenaded the crowd of 1200 people and connections were made that night that lead to the adoption of six Heart Gallery children. Not long after that, Diane was featured on several national television shows as well as in national publications and soon Heart Galleries were popping up all over the country.

The Los Angeles chapter was started over two years ago and is continually working to ensure every child in our community has a permanent loving family.
